    Description

      Investigate if moving model_cache from a per-container memcached to using the per-registry Redis improves performance, specifically around the /tags/list enpdoint.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • verify that redis cache is being used for requests
      • deploy on staging
      • run load tests on staging
      • validate the hit ratio is similar to the production ( ~87%)
      • kill pods and see impact on the DB
      • kill one Redis node and validate HA works
