Goal

• Subscription settings are not conducive to users making a connection between their evaluation expiring and the action of subscribing on the clusters list.
• The current edit subscriptions modal does not provide users with current cluster or subscription information to help users make informed decisions.
• Our goal is to make short term improvements to the Edit subscriptions modal that does not require any backend API changes. Focus on what can we do today to improve this experience.

Requirements

• For the edit subscription modal:
  • Provide the necessary cluster information so users know what cluster they are subscribing
  • Provide more context around what all of these options are and what they mean (beyond just the sections). 
  • Consider what links to documentation would be necessary and useful.
• Identify any other gaps we could be missing.
• Look at Gina's original designs for the modal and identify things that were not implemented.

Design Process

• Meet with Shiri and Kevin to iterate on designs
• Work with Shiri on initial designs and share for feedback at the OpenShift IxD weekly
• When designs are ready begin to get feedback from other stakeholders and share at the UXD Stakeholder Weekly HAC/OCP/OCM (our new combined meeting on Wednesdays) as well as the Unclassified Clusters Working Session (Colleen and Megan can help with this when you are ready)
