Under "About", we should include a section that orients users who are familiar with community Istio to OSSM. This page answers the question, how does OSSM differ from Istio?

      Potential topics:

      • OpenShift Service Mesh operator (Sail operator) for installation and lifecycle management of the Istio control plane, Istio CNI resource, side car or ZTunnel data planes
      • OpenSSL rather than boringSSL for encryption for FIPS
      • Longer Support lifecycle (we won't want to state a particular lifecycle in the docs, though we could link to the operator lifecycle page.
      • Support for the Kiali console and OpenShift Service Mesh Console Plugin
      • Supported integrations across the OpenShift platform (If we are allowed to link to other OCP docs pages, we could add links), including:
        • Openshift user-workload monitoring
        • OpenShift Distributed tracing
        • cert-manager
        • OpenShift Virtualization
        • OpenShift GitOps
        • OpenShift Serverless
      • See Feature support table for details of specific feature support

This issue does not include how to migrate from upstream Istio, nor does it include details on supported/unsupported features support. Those will be covered by separate pages/issues.
