We've decided to GA discoverySelectors in 2.4.0, because it's closely related to ClusterWide mode.

Users can currently configure discoverySelectors using the field SMCP.spec.techPreview.meshConfig.discoverySelectors. We should expose them directly in SMCP.spec.discoverySelectors or some other field that isn't under techPreview, exactly like we did for extensionProviders.

When implementing this, please see if the discoverySelectors field belongs under some existing field instead of SMCP.spec. Perhaps, we should just create SMCP.spec.meshConfig and have it contain only the discoverySelectors field for now. The reasoning behind this is that we'll eventually support the full meshConfig and it will probably end up in SMCP.spec.meshConfig.
