There are some use cases where we may need to have EDPM networker node. Basically it should be something similar to EDPM compute node but without nova's stuff installed, just Neutron things.

On such networker node there should be also way to install neutron agents like neutron-dhcp-agent or neutron-ovn-metadata-agent if that would be needed.

We need to understand with the EDPM team what would be the best way to accomplish that - maybe there are (or should be) some defined roles for nodes.

The following services will need to be deployed on networker node:

• ovn-controller (part of ovn Service)
  • Centralized and DVR modes should be validated
• neutron-dhcp-agent (https://issues.redhat.com/browse/OSP-27538)
• neutron-metadata-agent - in some scenarios at least, e.g. when sriov nodes are present

Of these, dhcp agent is still WIP.
