Goal: 

We are currently using PyMySQL as the DB client lib to support eventlet monkey patching. Once that is not needed we can try to use the more performant libmysqlclient based https://github.com/PyMySQL/mysqlclient We need nova-next to test this and needs some doc update in the repo.
 

Acceptance Criteria:

• nova-next is running with mysqlclient
• documentation updated when and how to use this client
