Summary:

• Spike to research and scope additional Network Observability metrics that can be exported to support observability of the RHOSO Control Plane networking

Goal:

• Identify which metrics should be added to the exporter to provide useful data about network connectivity and OpenStack networking statistics for use in Prometheus, Loki, and NetObserv visualization.

TimeBox:

• This spike should be one sprint (two weeks)

Deliverables/Outcomes:

• List of metrics to add to the network-exporter
• Tasks for adding the metrics to network-exporter, adding the metrics to the GUI, and/or any other tasks needed to make the metrics usable in the Prometheus framework and UI
