The d/s Dynamic Routing document includes several times a warning message explaining that, due to OSPRH-661:

Currently, in dynamic routing environments, there is a limitation where the RHOSO control plane cannot be distributed. For this reason, you must have dedicated Networker nodes that host the OVN gateway chassis. This limitation will be solved in a future RHOSO release. For more information, see OSPRH-661.

The first sentence is wrong because this ticket is not related to distrubuted controlplane, but to the fact that controlplane nodes (OCP nodes) cannot be used as gateway nodes when BGP is used. This would be correct:

Currently, in dynamic routing environments, there is a limitation where the RHOSO control plane nodes cannot be configured as dataplane gateway nodes. For this reason, you must have dedicated Networker nodes that host the OVN gateway chassis. This limitation will be solved in a future RHOSO release. For more information, see OSPRH-661.
