.Block Storage service (cinder) known issue
When you are using Red Hat Ceph Storage as the back end for the Block Storage service (cinder), then you might be unable to extend an attached encrypted volume.
*Workaround:* detach the encrypted RBD volume, extend this volume and then reattach it.

The component CI jobs for cinder with a ceph backend is failing a test for extending an attached encrypted volume.  See OSPCIX-653 for details.

The test began failing around 11 Jan 2025.

The point of this Jira is to flag this as a Known Issue in RHOSO-18

This applies to RBD encrypted volumes only.  The workaround is to detach the volume, extend it, and then reattach the volume.
