The memory cost of the current "Copied CSV" design is suspected to be high relative to its utility. The goal of this task is:

• analyze heap profiles to assess the memory cost of CSV copying (if assumptions turn out to be wrong, end here)

• suggest changes to reduce memory cost (either nonfunctional optimizations or forward-looking design changes)
