The most requested feature from kubernetes-nmstate is the ability to update DNS configuration on hosts. Initial testing of this functionality has yielded mixed results. We know there are some gotchas to doing DNS configuration with nmstate on OCP nodes, at least some of which will need to be addressed in documentation. In some environments we are also finding that DNS configuration is not working as expected, even with all the necessary configuration. Given the importance of this feature, we need to ensure we understand what is going on in those cases before we hand knmstate to customers and tell them it's ready.
