      xpaas-qe test suite, https://github.com/rh-openjdk/jdkContainerOcpTests

which uses xpaas test framework (xtf) - https://github.com/xtf-cz/xtf

(which in turn uses bits of https://github.com/fabric8)

performs tests (written in Java) upon an OpenShift cluster. This is potentially the way forward for testing OpenShift templates.

            Testcase added

            PR for the new testcase:
            https://github.com/rh-openjdk/jdkContainerOcpTests/pull/14

Test case checks the parameters of the template, deploys the template. Once the app is deployed all resources are validated to exist.

jdowland@redhat.comThis is my thoughts for the first testcase.
Attempt to follow the procedure previously outlined for building off the template.
Once that is done, perform (assuming I have these hooks) checks on the built images.

As discussed on Wed, we can't conclusively determine that we can satisfy our test requirements with jdkContainerOcpTests/xtf or anything else until we've scoped those requirements.
