Goal:

• Create a new plugin to run user-defined tests to allow users/developers/partners to extend OPCT to orchestrate scenarios not covered by regular conformance suites (example CCM [Cloud Controller Manager] when using platform type external)
• The extended plugin must receive a bash script through CLI, and the script must publish the JUnits in the artifacts directory
• The plugin must be optional, enabled by flag or configuration

Why:

• OCP layered or extended components  (such as: ODF+LSO, RHOAI, Virt, Partner's CCM, etc) can be covered by VCSP program using existing tooling, preventing to use different tools or engaging engineering teams to instruct partners to run component-specific e2e.
  • OPCT conformance workflow can be extended to any custom validation just creating a single bash script
