      Feature Overview (aka. Goal Summary)

Design an API to expose the catalog introspection tools.

Design a feature to allow the user to pin a catalog. The introspection tool will allow to pin the selected catalog.

      Goals (aka. expected user outcomes)

A design document to expose the API for the catalog introspection.

A design document that will explain how to use the API to pin the selected catalog.

      Background

We want the user to accurately understand the content of the catalogs and remove the heavy lifting outside of oc-mirror and take it out to the introspection tool. The result will be imageSet-config.

TBD - find RFEs for htis.

The process of evaluating the catalogs by the customers is very long. The introspection tool should shorten the time, by showing them the available options and only mirroring the smaller part of the catalog, based on the pinned catalog. This way they will get consistent results.

      Requirements (aka. Acceptance Criteria):

      • The two design documents
