Feature Overview

With the assisted installer we can install a number of operators*. With the strategic focus on  OpenShift Virtualization and Agent-based installations being a key player for bare metal and disconnected installations, which are common use cases for users deploying clusters for OpenShift Virtualization, users want to be able to install these clusters with the required operators.

This feature allows to use the framework to install operators available in the Assisted Service in the Agent-Based Installer.

Requirements

The Agent-Based Installer can install the same operators as the Assisted Installer:

• Multicluster Engine for Kubernetes
• Red Hat OpenShift Data Foundation
• Logical Volume Manager Storage
• Migration Toolkit for Virtualization
