Background

The test suite has some parts that are platform specific, for example, it's ability to increase the size of a control plane machine, or the checks for the support level for a particular platform.

We need to make sure the test suite is compatible with GCP.

Steps

• Ensure the platform support level is correct in the framework
• Ensure the framework can increase the instance size of a GCP provider spec
• Set up a GCP cluster
• Attempt to run the presubmits against the cluster, identify parts where the suite bails because support is not implemented.
• Implement those parts for GCP.
