      This is a clone of issue OCPBUGS-57090. The following is the description of the original issue:

      Description of problem:

          When using an OpenShift secret containing a special character, the SMB/CIFS driver will give permission denied trying to authenticate

      Version-Release number of selected component (if applicable):

          

      How reproducible:

      always    

      Steps to Reproduce:

          1. Create storage using a special character in the password
          2. Try authenticating via the CIFS/SMB driver
          3. Receive permission denied
          

      Actual results:

          Permission denied

      Expected results:

          This should authenticate
