During a PR update for a specific configuration option for the collector, there was a discussion / comments about overall improvements that could be made to the docs:

TLDR; the docs for taints and tolerations for logging are scattered, and the conceptual information could be reused / better aligned with what already exists in the core docs, since these are Kubernetes and not logging-specific concepts.
