What is the nature and description of the request?

OpenStack has a proposal to incorporate OpenTelemetry. Within this integrations frmework (see parent outcome) an integration with OpenStack shal be provided.

Why does the customer need this? (List the business requirements)

The goal of this particular feature is to support and document such integration, not implementing the change in OpenStack.
