Also known as hot plug functionality.

This features allows users to change the annotations for secondary network selection on pods during run-time. When these annotations are changed, the network interface are dynamically added (or removed) based on that change.

This is important to components such as OpenShift Virtualization, as this is functionality that one may find as a basic functionality for virtual machines. This is also critical for VNFs that may also have stateful operations – example: A BGP peer, you might want to change networks on the fly.

      Acceptance criteria:

      • an attachment can be added to a live pod
      • an attachment can be removed from a live pod
      • e2e tests
      • documentation
