The goal of this epic is to provide a thick plugin preview for dynamic attachments controller. Dynamic secondary network attachments are of interest to VM-in-kubernetes situations, e.g. kubevirt / CNV.
In order to use a dynamic attachments controller for secondary networks, we need a "thick plugin" – a CNI plugin that runs resident in memory as opposed to as a one-shot.
Currently, this thick plugin functionality is merged upstream in an alpha state. This epic will help to expose the gaps for full productization, but the goal will be to provide a preview of the thick plugin that's optionally enabled in order to have a preview of the dynamic attachments functionality.
DOD: A preview of the thick plugin functionality can be enabled for CNV users which deploys the thick plugin.
(Full productization will include consideration for migration from thin to thick plugin)
