What were you trying to do that didn't work?

Customer was trying to do a warm migration from vCenter to OpenShift using MTV.  Guest OS was Oracle Linux 8.8 with selinux disabled.  

A second attempt as a Cold migration completed successfully.

What is the impact of this issue to you?

Unable to move out of PoC and VM is not migrated.

vCenter 8 to OpenShift 4.19.19 using MTV 2.10.1

Guest OS was Oracle Linux 8.8 with selinux disabled and 2 attached virtio disks.

How reproducible is this bug?:

Customer had two similar VM's that experienced the same issue.

Steps to reproduce

1. Create VM with OL 8.8, disable selinux, 2hdd's one root one other.
2. make sure VM comes up in vsphere.
3. Use MTV and create a plan to do a warm migration, "shared disks: false"  other settings and must-gather attached in Case.

Expected results

MTV does a warm migration and moves to the "schedule cutover" phase.

Actual results

Plan fails without populating disks.
