The feature, OVA Upload via Webbrowser, is moving from Technical Preview (TP) to General Availability (GA).
Since the functionality was already documented in the 2.10 Technical Preview, the primary objective of this ticket is to:
- Remove TP Labeling: Systematically remove all Technical Preview caveats, warnings, and labels associated with the OVA upload feature throughout the documentation (e.g., in release notes, introductory sections, and procedural guides).
- Validate GA Changes: Review the feature documentation against the final GA code, ensuring no procedural steps, constraints, or UI elements have changed during the promotion process.
- Final Polish: Confirm that the OVA upload content is integrated into the official user workflow as a fully supported, production-ready feature.
JTBD Statement:
"When I need to migrate Virtual Machine appliances (OVAs) into the target environment using the web console, I want the feature to be officially designated as General Availability (GA) so that I can rely on the method for all production and critical tasks and be assured of full technical support if any issues arise during the transfer."
The documentation task (MTV-3845) supports this job by addressing the primary sub-job:
- all Technical Preview (TP) admonitions to be removed
- is duplicated by
