Based on how the previous two steps go, we will evaluate the best way to manage updating the UI based on the watch events from the websocket connection. Initially we will probably simply invalidate the existing REST queries so they refetch on events rather than on a polling interval, but we may also consider patching the query cache using the data in the event body.
