kube-state-metrics v2.5.0 has the ability to create metrics for any CRD resource [1]. We should evaluate whether it is possible to use this capability instead of openshift-state-metrics.

• Evaluate the feasibility of using only kube-state-metrics.
• List pros/cons (resource usage, availability, ...).
