Epic Goal
Make Observability Operator consumable by SREs to be used as a component which supports operating Red Hat's managed service offerings on top of OSD. The requirements are a subset of the ROMS internal path.
This epic tracks progress, tasks in this epic are the agreed requirements, content is copied and pasted from the above spreadsheet. For rationales why a certain task is completed, please see the comments in the appropriate task.
Why is this important?
We need to continuously ensure a certain level of quality for Observability Operator as a deliverable in order for the SREs to be able to rely on it for monitoring managed tenants and their services.
Scenarios
- SRE deploys Observability Operator to a managed tenant and uses it to monitor services and infrastructure inside that tenant and alert on issues.
Acceptance Criteria
- The defined subset of ROMS requirements (see tasks) is completed.
