      The MCO currently supports boot image updates for AWS and GCP platforms, with plans to introduce support for vsphere in TechPreview for 4.20 and Azure in TP for 4.21. This support does not extend to clusters that use marketplace images, as those images are not published in the installer's rhcos.json. https://github.com/openshift/enhancements/pull/1655 plans to solve this. Once this solution has been implemented, MCO can begin adding support for these clusters as it now has a source for the latest marketplace boot images.
