When MCO-1597 was first implemented as one of the origin tests for MachineConfigNode’s GA, the MCN object did not handle node degrades clearly. Therefore, the first version of the origin test for validating an MCN on node degrade is a bit bare-bones.

The node degrade functionality for MCN will be addressed in MCO-1615. Once the node degrade functionality is enhanced, the origin test for this case will need to be updated to be more reflective of the new desired functionality.

• `ValidateMCNConditionOnNodeDegrade` origin test reflects updated degrade functionality
