When an invalid MachineConfig is applied, the node that attempted to upgrade will enter a degraded state and the MachineConfigNode phase when the upgrade failed will be in the “Unknown” state with an error reported in the condition’s message. This test should ensure that when an update fails and a node is degraded, an MCN condition is reporting as “Unknown.”
