      Summary

      Modify the AWS cloudwatch sink to allow configuration of the AWS log group
      so that administrators may choose the class of log storage for their logs

      Acceptance Criteria

      • Submission is merged into the upstream code base

      Vector API Changes

      The aws_cloudwatch_logs sink needs an update in order to support the storage tier configuration for the log groups.

      Official PR is WIP today.
