      Goals

      • Add support to configure the TLS Certificate Authority when using OpenStack SWIFT object storage for LokiStack.

      Non-Goals

      Motivation

Currently it is only possible to configure the TLS Certificate Authority for S3 object storage clients. This is prominently possible for object storage solution (i.e. Minio, OpenShift Data Foundation) that are connected via the Loki S3 client lack of a native SDK for these endpoints.

      Alternatives

      None

      Acceptance Criteria

      1. The LokiStack administrator can reference a custom ConfigMap that includes the CA certificate bundle when using OpenStack Swift object storage for LokiStack.

      Risk and Assumptions

      None.

      Documentation Considerations

Amend existing configuration documentation as provided by OBSDOCS-219.
