• A vector alert is recorded when the connection is dropped
• A vector alert is recorded when the output error rate increases

• We've released LOG-1920 as an initial subset of vector alerts.   We are proposing to get prangupt, or another engineer who has worked with vector metrics over the summer, to assist with assembling additional metrics going forward.
