For OSC 1.7, RHEL 9.4 CVM was not available yet in Azure marketplace (see: https://issues.redhat.com/browse/KATA-2934), we should revalute the status of the image readiness for OSC 1.8 and update it accordingly (better to match other providers base images as well.

To update Azure image: update the following variables, in the file “azure-podvm-image-handler.sh”.

BASE_IMAGE_OFFER
BASE_IMAGE_SKU

The RHEL 9.4+ CVM images on Azure should support both SNP and TDX with the same image. With that, we won’t need to differentiate between SNP and TDX when building the PodVM image.
