Some CDI Extensions use deprecated methods that have been removed in the CDI 4.0 spec

    Description

      The BeforeBeanDiscovery.addAnnotatedType(AnnotatedType) was deprecated in CDI 1.1 and removed in CDI 4.0. The *-jakarta variants where these extensions are used will fail for Jakarta EE 10.

      It looks like the currently affected extensions are:

      • CompensationsCDIExtension
      • TXFrameworkCDIExtension
