When sequence flows will readjust task appearance will be reset to default (no shadow, black border) but quick menu will be still present.

When you move node after Sequence flow adjustment node will lose selection decorations (shadow and blue border) but still will display quick menu.
Update: it happens for nodes with outgoing sequence flows, if node has no outgoing connections (for example End node) - it will be always selected correctly even if input connection will be adjusted.
