      1. File--> New --> select "JPA Project"
      2. Provide Project name--> next -->next
      3. Click on Ass connection
      4. Select SQL server
      5. Click on new driver definition(plus sign)
      6. Provide the details and Save
      7. You will observe Properties list are empty.(Attached Screen-Shot)

      Unable to create a SQL server connection in new jpa project. Its not allowing to update the properties. Attached screenshot, properties are missing. This happens when we select SQL server version >= 2012

            nickboldt This is fine.
            rhn-support-shsingh I believe this is because the driver definition does not have all the information available. In this case probably the jar file containing the JDBC driver. Normally you should be able to click the star just to the right of the dropdown (I attached a little image of it) to add the necessary jar file. Let me know if this helps.

            I don't have access to Salesforce. Can you provide some details about:

            • eclipse version
            • jbosstools or devstudio version
            • OS name & version
            • JDK version
            • etc.
