We expect this to break, we need to gather data about how it breaks and the cluster status at the end. The goal is to determine whether the resulting state is acceptable, in which case we'll simply document that this isn't supported; or unacceptable, in which case we'll try to find a way to either block it or make it prettier (as well as documenting it's unsupported).
