Goal

OpenShift GitOps operator has a dependency on OpenShift Pipelines operator. This dependency can cause issues for customers due to the coupling of release versions that it creates between these two operators. Given that OpenShift Pipelines is not necessary for Openshift GitOps to function, it should get removed as a dependency.

kam requires a number of components to be installed such as OpenShift Pipelines. This is something that cluster admin should perform based on their requirements as a prerequisite to using kam.

Acceptance Criteria

• Update GitOps Operator CSV to remove Pipelines dependencies
• Verify in downstream built GitOps operator
• Update documents
