GITOPS Sprint 3249, GITOPS Sprint 3250
Story (Required)
As part of CEE, I want detailed information on how to manage secrets when using the GitOps process enabled with kam so that I can provide insight on it to help customers to ensure security and integrity of secrets (webhooks, private git repos, etc) in their GitOps-based continuous delivery process while being on a commercially supported path from Red Hat and its partners.
Background (Required)
Part of epic to improve CEE documents; this topic has been identified as an area of improvement.
Out of scope
Adding information to official documentation (docs.redhat.com)
Approach (Required)
- Create documentation, current up to GitOps Operator v1.11, that details this topic as thoroughly as possible.
- Put documentation under https://spaces.redhat.com/display/GITOPS/CEE+Training (see instructions for adding a new topic on that page)
- If you topic is already included as part of the GitOps Usage Guide: make sure it's updated, and if it's NOT updated, please make a PR to update it.
