Image Updater currently has some e2e tests. As a part of the migration, these would need to be ported into the e2e test suite framework that is used by Argo CD.
Additional e2e tests for better coverage would also be needed eventually

Acceptance criteria

e2e tests are migrated successfully and executed with remaining Argo CD e2e tests
