With this update, the Argo CD Notifications controller is available as an optional workload that can be enabled or disabled by using the .spec.notifications.enabled parameter in the Argo CD custom resource. The Argo CD Notifications controller is available as a Technical Preview feature.

Description

We should update Upstream Argo CD operator documentation to mention that it supports the usage of notifications controller. It should detail usage instructions, and how to configure notifications using the CR. We should also update the API documentation

Acceptance criteria:

Update usage documentation upstream

Update GitOps operator User guide
Add release-note-text to apt Jira story
