With a huge data journal files that exceed the configured memory, the broker shutdown and shows the following error:
2021-12-27 12:36:20,158 ERROR [org.apache.activemq.artemis.core.server] AMQ224079: The process for the virtual machine will be killed, as component org.apache.activemq.artemis.core.persistence.impl.journal.JournalStorageManager@15888343 is not responsive
As enhancement, we can perform a compact data if data journal files exceed the configured memory
