Nowadays we often hit compatibility issues about jackson versions. Review JSONMarshaller and consider if we can get rid of internal API / implementation extension to mitigate the pain. (e.g. FallbackableTypeFactory)
Status as of 2022/01/18
- FallbackableTypeFactory issue was mitigated (
DROOLS-6522) - Further refactoring would be risky or even impossible
- Will do regularly test with new jackson version to prepare for future upgrades (See
DROOLS-6717). So I keep this JIRA as "CODING IN PROGRESS"
