In preparation for migrating Red Hat documentation sources to DITA, it's necessary to modify some of the AsciiDoc sources in the Debezium community GitHub repository.
This issue tracks removal of callout markup in code blocks.
DITA does not include dedicated semantic markup for callouts. Although the tooling that we'll use to convert the AsciiDoc sources to DITA supports callouts, based on competitive analysis, as well as requirements to support accessibility and AI consumption of the content, the Red Hat content services team has decided that we should remove callouts before we migrate content to DITA.
