Description of problem:
While attempting to connect to a Kiro workspace on IBM Z using Remote SSH, the connection fails during server initialization.
The session terminates immediately with an Unsupported architecture error, and the exec server does not start.
Prerequisites (if any, like setup, operators/versions):
Steps to Reproduce
- Use a macOS machine.
- Open Kiro DevSpaces / VS Code.
- Try to connect to a DevSpaces workspace using Remote SSH.
- Observe the connection logs.
Actual results:
[21:42:07.231] Unsupported architecture [21:42:07.231] Terminating local server [21:42:07.232] Exec server for ssh-remote+localhost failed: Error: The remote host's architecture is not supported [21:42:07.233] Error opening exec server for ssh-remote+localhost: Error: The remote host's architecture is not supported [21:42:07.233] ---------- [Session Summary] ----------- [21:42:07.233] [UnsupportedArch]: Error: UnsupportedArch (The remote host's architecture is not supported) [21:42:07.239] Local server exit: 15
Expected results:
Remote SSH connection should successfully establish and allow access to the DevSpaces workspace, regardless of host architecture (if supported by DevSpaces).
