      1. Rhel 9 repos sync'd
      2. RHEL 9 repos added for CI and testing
      3. Investigated the upgrade of ansible core (cannot do this until rhel 8 tests are gone)
      4. Dockerfiles updated
      5. AWS, Azure, and GCP tests working in CI (according to QE)
      6. The epic has been added to 4.18.0 testing

      Need to do:

      1. Determine changes for distribution (reached out to ART Team)
      2. Determine documentation updates

      Epic Goal

      • Add support so that Openshift Ansible can create/scaleup RHEL 9 nodes.

      Why is this important?

      • Openshift Ansible currently supports RHEL 8 nodes, but this is EOL. The openshift installer has already moved towards RHEL 9 support. As the support of openshift ansible is continued, so to is the requirement to upgrade support for RHEL 9  nodes.

      Acceptance Criteria

      • CI - MUST be running successfully with tests automated
      • Docs - MUST be updated to indicate the new support
      • REPO - The rhel-9 repos must be available and the packages must be able to be downloaded/installed
      • Packaging - Openshift Ansible must be packaged for customers
