The UIPlugin controller doesn't update a CR's status in all scenarios. https://github.com/rhobs/observability-operator/blob/d0e25a27bde3ba2ca6c39a6fb259e93c8ae8cc99/pkg/controllers/uiplugin/controller.go#L264 in particular could update the status. Maybe otherplaces as well.

This impacts debugging since the CRs status claims everyhting is good. One needs to check the generation.
