All of the changes are global for all users of the cluster so that every user will be shown the same modifications.

Cluster Administrators may have dual role in organization where they both do cluster administration tasks and develop/administer end-user services as project admins. These use cases may involve separating the workflows into different user accounts. One with cluster-admin privileges and another with developer/project admin rights.

There does not seem to be a way to edit web console with visual modification to give a warning banner, stylesheet or other visual flair for user with cluster-administrator rights to remind their current status as cluster-admin. Having such visible warning while being logged in as cluster-admin would help prevent human errors.

At the very least, a group/user selector element in notification banner would serve the need.

It would also be good if a global notification banner could be defined at the same time along with the group-specific one(s). We are currently using the notification banner at the top of web console to show the name of cluster to all users (developers and cluster-admins alike) and losing the ability to use that in order to show warning banner to cluster-admins would not be optimal. (We have separate test and production clusters.) The globally visible banner would be better at above of all group-specific ones, if including placement rules for that makes the configurability too complicated.
