Goal

Align all Dockerfile base images across CNV's konflux-builds v4-22 repositories to rhel9.8, which is the expected base image version for the v4.22 release. Each SIG component lead is responsible for updating their owned repositories and verifying builds pass in Konflux.

Scope

26 repositories across 7 SIGs under konflux-builds/v4-22.

What Needs to Change

For each repository listed in the child tasks:

• Update all Dockerfile FROM directives to reference rhel9.8 base images
• Verify that Konflux builds pass after the change
• Submit MRs to the corresponding v4-22 repo in konflux-builds

Acceptance Criteria

• All Dockerfiles in all 26 repositories reference rhel9.8 base images
• All Konflux builds pass
• All child tasks are closed

Non-Requirements

• No functional code changes – this is strictly a base image version bump
• No changes to repos outside the konflux-builds/v4-22 group

Notes

• Each child task contains direct links to the specific repositories the SIG lead must update
• SIG leads may create sub-tasks under their assigned task to delegate to individual teams
