      Goal

Currently when user tries to run VM on ARM with UEFI secureboot, the VM is not created and VM contains error:

Warning  FailedCreate  5m19s (x16 over 10m)  virtualmachine-controller  Error creating virtual machine instance: admission webhook "virtualmachineinstances-create-validator.kubevirt.io" denied the request: UEFI secure boot is currently not supported on aarch64 Arch

      Short Summary:

SecureBoot Support is currently not available in el9, this is only available from RHEL 10.2.

So for "Normal CNV" as it uses el9 Userspace, SecureBoot won't be availble for ARM in 4.22. So this is currently needed only for "RHEL4NV based CNV".

      User Stories

      • As an user / administrator I would like to run a VM with secureBoot enabled for GH/GB/VR Hardware.
